Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

Acquirezy ("Acquirezy", "we", "us") operates the website at acquirezy.com and provides a company, deal and contact intelligence platform, the Chase AI assistant, and bulk dataset licensing. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It applies to visitors, account holders, prospects who contact us, and individuals whose business or professional information appears in our datasets.

1. Data We Collect About Users & Prospects

Account & profile data. When you create an account we (via our authentication provider) process your name, email address and authentication identifiers.

Billing data. When you subscribe, our payment processor collects and processes your payment details. We receive your plan, subscription status and billing metadata — we do not store full card numbers.

Sales / bulk-export enquiries. When you submit the Bulk Dataset Export or "Contact Us" form, we collect the business email address and the use-case description you provide so we can respond to your enquiry.

Chase AI interactions. We process the questions and prompts you submit to Chase AI to generate responses and to secure, debug and improve the service.

Usage & device data. Basic technical information your browser sends (IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed) and product usage events, used for security, analytics and reliability.

2. Business & Professional Data in Our Datasets

Acquirezy compiles a business-intelligence database covering companies, acquisitions, funding rounds, investors, and the people associated with them (such as founders, executives and professional contacts). For individuals, this can include names, job titles, professional profiles, employer and business contact details. This information is compiled from publicly available sources (for example company websites, regulatory and securities filings, press releases and public professional profiles) and from licensed third-party data providers.

We process this data in a professional context to provide market, deal and contact intelligence to our business users. Where applicable law requires a lawful basis, we rely on our legitimate interest(and that of our users) in providing business information, balanced against the rights of the individuals concerned. We do not knowingly include special categories of data or data about children.

If you are an individual featured in our data and want to access, correct or remove your information, email support@acquirezy.com and we will action verified requests as required by applicable law.

3. How We Use Data

To provide, secure and improve the platform and Chase AI; to authenticate accounts and process subscriptions; to respond to sales enquiries and support requests; to send service and, where permitted, marketing communications (which you can opt out of); to prevent abuse and fraud; and to comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Data & Sub-processors

We do not sell your account or personal contact data. We share data with the service providers (sub-processors) that operate the platform on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations:

  • Authentication and account management
  • Payment processing
  • Cloud hosting and database infrastructure
  • Transactional and marketing email delivery
  • Bot-protection, security and content delivery
  • Product analytics and error monitoring

Bulk dataset licensing. We license datasets — which may include the business and professional information described in Section 2 — to business customers under a separate written data licensing agreement that restricts how the data may be used. Because these datasets can contain personal information, this activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain U.S. state laws; see Section 8 for your choices.

We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights and users, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition.

5. International Transfers

We and our sub-processors may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.

6. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security (including bot protection) and to keep the product working. We may also use limited analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break sign-in and other features.

7. Data Security & Retention

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with access controls and secure backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

We retain account data until you delete your account, sales-enquiry records and support communications for up to 3 years, and usage analytics for up to 2 years, unless a longer period is required by law.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of marketing. EEA/UK residents may exercise rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR; California and other U.S. state residents may exercise rights under the CCPA/CPRA and similar laws.

To exercise any right, email support@acquirezy.com. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. Changes & Contact

We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. For any privacy question or request, contact support@acquirezy.com.
