As a Chief Financial Officer of the Company, Rohit Kamat is responsible for the treasury, financial reporting, taxation and internal controls at Persistent Systems. Rohit has been with Persistent since 2001 and has held various senior positions in the Finance and Internal Audit departments. With over 30 years of experience in the areas of corporate finance, international and domestic taxation and management accounting, Rohit has worked with leading Indian and multinational IT companies including Tata Unisys Ltd., L & T Infotech Ltd. and Syntel Software.Rohit is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India as well as of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He holds a B.Com. (Hons) from the University of Mumbai and is a qualified Cost and Works Accountant.
