Tim Blazytko is a binary security researcher and co-founder of emproof GmbH. He specializes in software security, particularly in code obfuscation, binary hardening, reverse engineering, and program analysis. During his PhD research at Ruhr University Bochum, he worked on novel methods for code deobfuscation, fuzzing, and bug triaging. At emproof, Tim focuses on building code obfuscation schemes and binary hardening solutions tailored to embedded devices. He also conducts training on reverse engineering and code deobfuscation, analyzes malware, and performs security audits. Besides his role at emproof, he is an experienced trainer giving lectures and raising awareness about embedded security at various conferences and institutions. Tim's expertise includes building and undermining software protection, large-scale automated reverse engineering techniques, and developing methods to prevent reverse engineering.
