Securities analyst with expertise in the US banking/financial sector and Angel investor newbie; well, more like a cherub, but without the good looks... I came from the once glorious and always fascinating country of Greece in 1990 to complete my studies, enrolling in the CUNY system as many immigrants before and after me. During my second year as an MBA student at Baruch College I joined M.D. Sass (a well-run asset management company) in New York as an unpaid intern to get some "practical" experience. I moved from there to PaineWebber which became UBS/PaineWebber and was laid off before it became UBS. Equipped with a CFA charter and plenty of hunger for new challenges I joined S&P as an equity analyst in training and since then I have followed predominantly the US financial sector.
